THE South Australian Government welcomes business migrants and supports them to explore their possible business activity in the State by providing information and facilitating an initial visit.
This assistance is part of unique package of services for provisional, temporary long stay and permanent business migrants that has been implemented by the State Government.
The Exploratory Visit Support is a free service that acts as a "One Stop Shop" to provide personalised advice and guidance with particular emphasis on:
l Business needs assessment
l Migration strategy development
l Contact and network establishment
l Market research
l State Government support and sponsorship
The Exploratory Visit Support also offers referrals to Registered Migration Agents in South Australia and introductory information about business skills migration eligibility and visas.
Visits
Potential business migrants visiting South Australia to explore their possible business activity are supported during their visit by:
l Making bookings for hotel accommodation (in some hotels at discounted Government rates). All hotel costs are the responsibility of the visiting potential migrant
l Local itinerary preparation (business activity)
Arrangement for visits to businesses or business meetings such as:
l Business and industry organisations
l The Business Centre
l Possible business locations
Arrangement of:
l Visits to Schools
l Introductions to Real Estate and Business Agents
l Other appropriate industry and business specialists
Providing relevant documentation and information
Migrants intending to visit South Australia and make use of this service must provide a minimum of two weeks notice of their date of arrival in South Australia.
